Write Away!

 |
Write Away! offers e-mail tutorials, workshops, manuscript evaluations and mentoring for your writing project. We've been helping writers since 1987 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, shifting to Victoria, British Columbia, in 1990, and in 2000 to Peterborough, Ontario. Our director is Margaret Slavin Dyment, author of Drawing the Spaces. |

| Fabricating this tale out of memory, at first I believe I am in control--but slowly I understand that it is the story deciding where it comes from and how it goes.... Winding its way back into the mysterious dark, the story found what wanted to come forward into the light. |
| - Isabel Huggan, from "S.E.M.A.P.H.O.R.E.," in Belonging, Knopf, 2003 |

| Manuscript Evaluation Service
Revised your manuscript as far as you can go? Before you send it to an editor, why not get an informed, friendly reading? You are the author and we do not do re-writes or promise publication. What we give you is a detailed response from a knowledgeable reader, an honest critique and, where appropriate, specific suggestions.
We can spot problems and suggest remedies. It is also useful to hear what is working well!
