often also Best Udder. Most relate back to 3 paternal
sisters sired by Singing-Spruce Pollonade EX -- Jamocha, Chablis
& Lady-- these 3 all EX mammary and EX
overall. Jamocha is a high-testing excellent brood doe, Chablis has
consistent high production (over 2000 kg), and Lady has the #1 Saanen
production record made last year (Canada and U.S).

Jamocha:
Good
udder and teat placement, high components, EX brood doe. Jamocha is
a really high-testing doe who didn't milk as well as her sisters in
their first lactation,
She then got mastitis in the 2nd, so after that I dried her
off early each lactation since we weren't shipping milk, and bred her to
get as many kids as possible since she has proven to be a great brood
doe with several promising daughters and granddaughters here
including Gypsy and high component/prod full sister
Tara, both pictured below, both VG-89, EX mamm. Her production has been getting
significantly better in her last lactations but I still dry her off
early to concentrate on getting more kids. |
