Part Time 1 year Contract - Technical Customer Service RepresentativesJuly 3, 2015 9:00am

Nexicom is currently seeking Technical Customer Service Help Desk Representatives - 12 Month Part Time Contract position of 8-32 hours per week


The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
•Assisting all customers with account inquiries at the counter, over the phone or via e-mail,
•Taking applications for new services and keep customer history current
•Participating in phone sales campaigns to up sell our services and help customers
•Inputting new customer billing and payment information into billing systems for basic services as required
•Taking payments and entering them in the billing system, preparing the bank deposits, and ensuring daily reports balance to the deposit
•Providing back up to the Support Team with regards to data entry of telephone programming codes, preparing trouble tickets and locate requests

The position requires a well-spoken, articulate, pleasant-mannered and flexible, individual with effective listening and analytical skills who delivers excellence in customer service with a professional approach to customers and staff.

The successful candidate will be required to be able to work amongst our 4 locations, Millbrook, Lindsay, Peterborough and Lakefield.


Qualifications:

• Minimum entry level post secondary education with some specialization in computers and the internet. (wireless, DSL & Cable)
• 1 to 2 years of previous experience in an office environment using business tools
•  Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
•  A positive, friendly attitude with the willingness and ability to assist our customers and promote our services
•  Ability to learn and share information with others and able to work in a team environment a must
•  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while effectively managing multiple tasks

 • Experience in a structured team environment. Help Desk experience is an asset
•  Data entry, PC repair and maintenance.

          • Experience setting up WIFI and Email on mobile devices.
          • Working knowledge of Windows OS from Windows XP to Windows 8, Apple OS knowledge is an asset.
         • Internet and Basic Networking knowledge is an asset
         •  Working knowledge of the Internet, Internet technologies, and technological/industry trends, as well as personal computers, e-mail and operating systems, dial-up and high-speed Internet connectivity
          •  Familiarity with trouble reporting systems

Customer Service Representative- 1 Year ContractJuly 3, 2015 9:00am

Nexicom is looking for 1 Full Time Customer Service Representatives - One year Contract

We are looking for people with enthusiasm and integrity who will help us deliver the latest technology with personal care to our customers.  Excellence in customer service is essential.

  • Assist all customer with account inquiries at the counter, over the phone and via email
  • Take applications for new services and keep customer history current
  • Participate in phone sales campaigns to up sell our services and assist our customers
  • Input new customer billing and payment information into billing system for basic services as required
  • Responsible for taking payment and entering them into the billing system, preparing bank deposits, and ensuring daily report balance to the deposit
  • Providing back up to the Support Team with regards to data entry of programming codes, troubleshooting and preparing trouble tickets and locate requests
  • Other duties include: clerical duties such as opening the mail and processing outgoing mail, maintaining inventory cell phones/telephones and equipment for over-the-counter sales, ensure office equipment is operational, closing the office, counting revenue from the payphones.
  • This position reports to the Customer Service Supervisor.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Ontario Secondary School Diploma with some business and computer courses.

Experience: minimum one year in customer service environment

Computer Knowledge: General knowledge of Windows-based programs – Excel, Word, Internet Explorer, Outlook.  Above Average keyboarding skills.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to use basic mathematical functions in the setting up of customer accounts, in the preparation of manual invoices, and to understand and intermediate problem solving to interpret current account balances and customer billing.

Language & Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate in a clear and professional manner with both customers and staff.  Also must be able to read and interpret safety documents and operating instructions.

Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact with co-workers and general public in a pleasant and co-operative manner.  Frequent contact with customers and employees which requires tact and courtesy.  Ability to maintain a calm and professional manner when dealing with irate customers.  The ability to function as a team player is essential

Psychological: Some stressful situations and mental fatigue as well as multiple interruptions.  Tasks and priorities remain fairly consistent.  Must have the ability to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.  Required to deal with customers and agents in person.

Details

Wages - $12.50-14.00/hr depending on proven experience

Location - Mainly Millbrook - but needs to be able to work at Lindsay, Lakefield & Peterborough locations on occasion as needed

Hours of Work - Generally Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm - the odd Saturday may be required in Lindsay, Lakefield Or Peterborough - hours at these locations are M-F 8:30am - 5:30pm & Saturdays 9am -5pm.
