Great Website...My maiden name is Elmhirst and I'm originally from Marquette Michigan. My grandfather's name was Joseph Elmhirst and he NEVER talked about his past or where he was from. We discovered after his death that he was from Canada. Interesting!!! My family visited the Elmhirst Resort in Canada and all agreed that's probably where my grandfather was from. I will get more info and send it to you. Thanks.

We have a common Great Grand Mother - Anastacia Evans. My Grandmother was Stella Evans who died at the age of 33. My Father, Frank Hughes was 11 years old when his mother died so we do not know a whole lot about our ancestors.

Karen... My husband has been researching my Chrysler family for over 30 years and has compiled a tremendous amount of data and in that data, the name Hughey and Sarginson appears. We don't know, as yet, if this connection would be of any value to you and your research but he is checking and will send you an E-Mail either pro or con. My Chrysler family, particularly my Father, was born at Highland Grove. His Father & Mother were also born there.
