Hutchison House Museum invites you to celebrate our 30th anniversary on May 24th 2008 from 11a.m. - 4p.m. This site interprets the early life in Upper Canada through the history of one of Peterborough's earliest doctors as well as Sir. Sandford Fleming (the doctor's cousin). The house was built in 1837 and has been restored to reflect the period; it features a fully operational hearth, as well as furnishings typical of the era. Join our costumed interpreters for family friendly games, or enjoy live music in our Victorian garden as we celebrate the history of the house and the community it belongs to.
